We are a family-friendly, musical space offering baby signing classes,
music classes, storytimes and drop-in playtimes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Baby Signing Classes
Baby Signing 8-week series
Our Baby Signing classes are $160+GST for an 8-week series
Teacher: Nicole Walker
– Individual class registration is not available for Baby Signing classes
– all classes are for babies 0-12 months, and are 45 minutes in length
Registration for brand new classes in April will be available soon!
In the meantime, mark your calendars:
$10* INTRO To Baby Signing class:
- Saturday April 5, 9:30am
- Tuesday April 8, 9:30am and 10:30am
*this $10 fee will be deducted from the cost of the 8-week series when you register
8-Week Series:
- Tuesdays 9:30am and 10:30am classes from April 22 – June 10
- Saturday 9:30am classes from April 26 – June 14
Music Classes
Musical Playground 8-week series
Our Musical Playground classes are $160+GST for an 8-week series
Teachers: Nicole Walker (Thursday morning babies classes) and Austin Ching (Saturday morning toddler classes)
– Individual class registration is is available ($25/class) for all Musical Playground classes, as space allows
– classes are 45 minutes in length
– please see class descriptions for age requirements
Registration for brand new classes in April will be available soon!
In the meantime, mark your calendars:
$10* Demo classes:
- Thursday April 10, 9:30am and 10:30am (babies: 0-18 months)
- Saturday April 19, 10:30am (toddlers: 18-36 months)

8-Week Series:
- Thursdays with Nicole 9:30am and 10:30am classes from April 24 – June 12 (babies 0-18 months)
- Saturdays with Austin 10:30am classes from April 26 – June 14 (toddlers: 18-36 months)
Individual registration is available for all Musical Playground classes! You can register up to 1 hour before the beginning of each class, as space allows. The fee is $25+GST per class.
Instrument Adventures for Preschoolers 8-week series
Our Instrument Adventures classes are $160+GST for an 8-week series, or $25+GST for individual class registration. Multiple caregivers welcome!
Teacher: Nicole Walker
– Individual class registration is is available ($25/class) as space allows
– classes are 45 minutes in length
Here is a schedule of what we will explore during these 8 weeks:
Week 1: introduction to sound/vibration, musical styles, and instruments of the orchestra
Week 2: violin and guitar, craft day – make your own guitar!
Week 3: introduction to melody, trumpet and trombone
Week 4: world instruments (this is a SUPER fun class!)
Week 5: introduction to rhythm, drums, craft day – make your own drum!
Week 6: introduction to harmony, piano and marimba
Week 7: flute and clarinet
Week 8: making music together with our “kitchen sink” orchestra!

Drop-in Playtime during the week
- Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ($15+GST)
11:30am-2:30pm for babies up to 2yrs - Every Friday morning (FREE for babies up to 6 months)
10:30-11:30am for babies up to 6 months
Saturday Storytime and Playtime
11:30am-1:00pm
Yoga Classes
Mama Flow Yoga
Friday mornings ($15+GST) beginning on January 10th
9:30-10:15am for pre-mobile babies
Family Flow Yoga
9:30-10:15am for families with children aged 2-5 years

Taught by Merve Sagiroglu, this interactive class introduces yoga and mindfulness to children and their parents in a fun and playful way.

Language Immersion Programs
Little Words Studio is excited to bring you our exclusive Language Immersion Playtimes!
We currently offer Language Immersion Playtimes in Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese, German and French. Feel free to suggest a language that you would like to see represented at the Studio!
Admission is $15 per adult/child pair, $5 for each additional adult or child. Suitable for families with babies 0-2 years, older siblings are welcome as long as they are supervised appropriately.
