A Community Haven Built One Little Word at a Time
Little Words Studio is a community space where infants, toddlers, and caregivers connect through music, play, and shared experiences. We foster community and create a nurturing environment where families learn, grow, and find belonging—because no one should navigate early parenthood alone.
Growing, Together.
Little Words was founded in 2024 by Nicole Walker, a passionate community builder with a vision to create a nurturing space for families. Here, families connect, learn, and grow together. Through drop-in playtimes, music, baby sign language, and yoga, we foster an environment of trust and respect. We believe in collaboration over competition, partnering with like-minded organizations to better serve families.
Join us and be part of a community where every word, moment, and connection matters.

Little Words Values

Nurture Community
A strong community starts with our littlest neighbours. When we nurture them, we shape a better future—together.

Share Knowledge
Learning is a two-way street. We share, listen, and grow, gaining new skills and perspectives along the way.

Play & Have Fun
Curiosity thrives through play. By making learning joyful, we inspire a lifelong love of discovery.

Lead with Service
Putting others first builds a culture of kindness and generosity that ripples outward into the world.

Embrace Collaboration
We achieve more together than alone. We actively seek partnerships that align with our mission and values.

Trust Intuition
Compassion, connection, and creativity flourish when we follow our instincts and lead with heart.
Meet Nicole
I’ve always been passionate about music, teaching, and—most of all—parenthood. These three things shape who I am, and I love bringing them together in everything I do.
But finding my voice—both literally and figuratively—wasn’t always easy. I was quiet, shy, and unsure of my place in the world. It took years to discover my path, but once I did, I embraced it wholeheartedly.
Today, I’m a musician, teacher, and parent, sharing my enthusiasm, creativity, and love for learning with others. Now that I’ve found my voice, I want to use it to inspire and uplift those around me.
