About Me

When I was young I had a hard time finding “my voice”.  I mean this both literally and figuratively – I was quiet and shy, but I also didn’t really have a strong sense of who I was or what impact I wanted to have on the world.

It took many years for me to figure out what direction my life was going to take.  Eventually I realized that there are a great number of things that I am passionate about!  Music is definitely one of them, teaching is another, and – as I discovered 15 years ago – being a parent is the greatest one of all.

Maybe that’s why I’ve chosen this as my profession, because it’s a chance to bring all of these elements together in one place.  Today, I am simultaneously a musician, a teacher and a mom, and I bring a huge amount of enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to everything that I do.  My wish is that I can use my voice, now that I have found it, to share these passions with others.
