A Language Immersive Experience for
Portuguese-Speaking Families
Join us for this fun and interactive Storytime session in Portuguese! Amanda offers a family-friendly program of songs, stories and hands-on activities that is specially designed for Portuguese-speaking families with little ones (0-36months).
Children can hear their native language in a comfortable setting, and parents can connect with other Portuguese-speaking families.
Language immersion is a valuable way to encourage children of multi-lingual households to learn and embrace their family's native language.
And it's loads of fun, too!
Meet Amanda
Amanda is a storyteller, music teacher, and mom who has been working with children since 2017, creating joyful and meaningful learning experiences through stories and music.
She specializes in storytelling in Portuguese for expatriate families, helping children stay connected to their language and cultural roots while supporting bilingual development. Her sessions are playful, interactive, and designed to naturally encourage communication, imagination, and confidence.
As a certified music teacher and professional storyteller, Amanda combines music, movement, and storytelling to capture children’s attention in a fun and engaging way. Each class is thoughtfully planned to promote language skills, creativity, and emotional growth through play.
As a mother, Amanda understands the importance of creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to explore, learn, and express themselves. She is passionate about building strong relationships with families and supporting each child’s individual journey.
