Prenatal Yoga

Take a moment for yourself with this restorative yoga class designed for moms, whether you bring your baby or not. Led by a certified yoga instructor, it features gentle poses and stretches to help you recover, regenerate, and reconnect with your body—offering a challenge for those who want it while allowing you to move at your own pace.

This class is ideal for moms at least 6 weeks postpartum who have been cleared to exercise. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and you’re welcome to bring your own mat (or use one of ours!). Feel free to register for our FREE New Parent Social Hour after class, starting at 10:30am!

Why we love Mama Flow:

Taking care of yourself is essential, especially for new moms. This class is all about nurturing your physical and mental well-being. Focused on pelvic floor work, core strength, and relieving tension from carrying your baby, it’s designed to make you feel supported and rejuvenated. The practice promotes self-care, self-love, and a mindful approach to recovery in the postnatal period. Whether you bring your baby or not, this class is an excellent way to honour your body and mind.

  • Registration is open right up until class begins

Yoga FAQ

Not at all! Our classes are beginner-friendly, with modifications for different levels. You can always go at your own pace.

  • Bring a mat if you have one, but we have a few extras available. Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement.
  • Socks are recommended in the studio, but you may remove them on your mat.
  • We provide resistance bands and yoga blocks as needed.

Pre-mobile babies stay on the mat near you. We provide toys, but feel free to bring comfort items like blankets or pacifiers. Babies are always beside you; we incorporate them into the practice when possible.

Even though these are drop-in classes, it’s best to pre-register to ensure that you have a guaranteed spot. The classes are small, and tend to fill up quickly.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for missed classes. Like most scheduled programs, your registration secures your spot, whether or not you attend. Credit can be given under some circumstances, please review our liability waiver for more details.

These classes are run by Wobbling Yogi, and all registration goes through them. Little Words Studio is happy to be hosting these amazing classes!
