Spotlight: Wobbling Yogi
Harp Sitara – Student, Teacher, Founder & Owner
Welcome to this edition of our monthly “Spotlight” series! Each month we shine a spotlight on a someone who is making a positive impact on the family scene in the Lower Mainland.
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Harp Sitara, founder of Wobbling Yogi — a local yoga and fitness studio dedicated to supporting its community and mamas through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Wobbling Yogi has been serving families across the Tri-Cities for the past year through prenatal yoga, postpartum yoga, postpartum fitness, stroller bootcamp classes, outdoor yoga, and community-centered wellness programs hosted at various local spaces.
At the heart of every class is connection — creating a safe, welcoming environment where mamas can slow down, move their bodies, and feel a little less alone in the journey of motherhood.
Q&A with Harp
How did "Wobbling Yogi" get its name?
The name Wobbling Yogi was created as a reminder that motherhood is never about perfection. Pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting all come with moments of uncertainty, growth, and “wobble.”
Rather than trying to fix or hide those moments, Wobbling Yogi encourages mamas to embrace them — to move through this season with authenticity, self-compassion, and grace. The goal is not to have it all perfectly balanced, but to learn how to move with the wobble and feel supported through it.

Who are your classes designed for?
Wobbling Yogi classes support mamas through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Pregnancy and postpartum can often feel isolating, especially when navigating new experiences and emotions. Wobbling Yogi classes are intentionally designed to foster community and meaningful conversation.

What makes your prenatal classes unique?
Prenatal classes begin with an open discussion around topics related to pregnancy and birth, offering mamas a space to share vulnerably, connect with others, and realize that many of the thoughts and feelings they’re experiencing are shared by others in the room.
